Assistant Director of Accounting

 

Responsibilities include general accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and auditing tasks within the Accounting Department. This position will also act as a senior level resource and assist management with strategic initiatives.

 

Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting; a minimum of 5 years’ experience; advanced Microsoft Excel skills; strong knowledge of Accounting Theory and Practice; knowledge of Financial Analysis Theory and Practice; analytical, conceptual and critical thinking skills to evaluate complex information; and the ability to make sound conclusions and interpretations of data. In addition, candidates must possess organizational and administrative skills to handle multiple systems and projects with minimal supervision, and a background in financial analysis and financial reporting.

 

Preferred qualifications include experience in a healthcare and/or a for-profit industry setting; GP experience; and CPA. Post-offer background checks and drug screen required.
