What is ADHD?
Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is one of the most common disorders of childhood. Symptoms of ADHD don’t present themselves physically, but rather through exaggerated or unusual behaviors. Children and adults with ADHD/ADD have trouble focusing and often behave impulsively. This disorder affects nearly three to ten percent of children in the United States, and the number of diagnoses is on the rise. If you or someone you love has been diagnosed with ADHD, you’re not alone.
